Dr. Shelley Gorman has been a clinical psychologist since 1986. An Ed.D. graduate of the University of Toronto (OISE), her professional background includes staff positions at several health institutions in Toronto and Mississauga, Ontario. Dr. Gorman is registered with The College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).

Dr. Gorman has extensive experience in psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for trauma related history (PTSD) and meditation. In couples’ therapy or marriage counseling, Dr. Gorman focuses on improving communication.

In collaboration with legal representatives, Dr. Gorman also provides psycho-legal assessments for clients with court-related requirements. Dr. Gorman conducts assessments for people who have been charged with criminal offences or who have pending immigration appeals.
